About us

Who we are and what we cover.

Rome shaped much of the world we live in. AfterRome covers what came after: the world of today, and the events that will shape tomorrow.

We publish news and analysis on World, Europe, Balkans, Technology and Ideas. Our goal is simple: explain what is happening, why it matters and what comes next, clearly and without noise.

We read sources in several languages and bring the full picture to readers in English, wherever the story happens.
